F.X. Mayr Cure – the foundation for a healthier life
Our philosophy at Park Igls
The success of our treatment regime at Park Igls is based on a simple but groundbreaking disocvery by Franz Xaver Mayr: a healthy gut is the solution to many medical problems. Our philosophy builds on this idea to develop a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Nutrition, exercise, regeneration and medicine are the four pillars for effective diagnosis, prevention and treatment during your stay. The ultimate goal is to support you on your personal journey to a healthier life.
Health begins in the gut
The gut is the root system of every human being
- Like the roots of the tree, the human gut is invisible. People usually associate the term health with easy-to-measure parameters like mood, mobility and physical appearance. Yet it is often forgotten that intestinal health is the foundation.
- If a tree is sick at the root, this usually only become visible when external symptoms of disease and decay appear. Intestinal problems are the root cause of many diseases in modern civilisation, despite the fact that we are often unable to see this with our eyes.
- Ultimately, the roots of a tree are essential. They provide strength, nourishment and support. Likewise, a healthy intestine is essential for our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.
